Cloudmux is a software for accessing and managing of private/local, public/remote and hybrid cloud environments. Its main goal is to ease the management of hybrid cloud environments, enabling the user to interact with one or more cloud providers through a unified API, and define strategies to manage the cloud resources better, coping with all difficulties inherent to dealing with cross-cloud resources.

In a nutshell, it consists of a server that exposes a RESTful API (similar to OCCI) and dispatches the requests to a given cloud, according to some preferences defined by the user/administrator. The server is a single point of management to one or more underlying clouds.

It is being written in python and the code is under BSD License. For more information, see project details on sourceforge.
